Honor Your Hero - National Hellenic Museum

The National Hellenic Museum will be closed to the public from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM on Friday, June 16 due to a private event.

Greek Independence Day is celebrated annually on March 25th, commemorating the heroes who fought for the freedom of their beloved country.  We all have people in our lives who remind us of the journey we have made to get to where we are.  In your life there may be people who are teachers, parents, siblings, children, spouses and friends who have supported you, advised you, and guided you.  These are our Everyday Heroes, and the impact they have made on our lives may go beyond the merits of a simple “Thank You” and “Ευχαριστώ”.

During the celebration of Greek Independence, you can honor your Everyday Hero and let them know the impact they had on your life while also supporting your Hellenic heritage.  With a gift to the National Hellenic Museum, your Everyday Hero’s name will be proudly displayed in the spring NHM Newsletter alongside your name.  The National Hellenic Museum will then send your honoree a letter acknowledging your gift and the impact they have had on your life.

Your tax-deductible donation helps the Museum connect generations through Greek heritage and the Hellenic legacy and makes it possible for NHM to share the Greek Story in America for generations to come.

Thank you for sharing your heroes with us and for sharing the National Hellenic Museum with your community. Every day you make a difference!
