Athanassios completed his BS in the Department of Biology at theUniversity of Patras, Greece. After receiving his PhD in Physiology from the Department of Biology, University of Athens, he trained at the National Institutes of Health and Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. He currently holds an appointment at Northwestern University-Feinberg School of Medicine as a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology. He speaks Greek, English and French.
