Is the event free? The event is free. Access to the Museum will be free all day on Sunday, December 15th.
Do I need to RSVP? No.
Do you need to be an NHM Member to attend? No, the event is open to the public. If you are interested in becoming an NHM Member, click here.
Will there be parking? There will be valet out front for $20. There is no onsite parking. You can also take public transit as we are a block away from the UIC-Halsted Blue Line stop. Additionally, there is a parking garage in Arkadia Tower. You can reserve your spot by clicking here.
Will NHM Staff be onsite? Yes, NHM Staff will be on hand during the Open House to answer any questions. No Collections donations will be accepted during the Open House.
Are children welcome? Yes, we encourage them to explore our Monumental exhibit on the 2nd floor.
Will there be food and drink? Yes, we encourage you to visit the many restaurants in Greektown before or after the Open House.
